They were walking along the Brooklyn Promenade together. The sun had just set and the city lights were twinkling across the still water of the East River. The walk was Michael’s idea, and Carolyn couldn’t help but think how romantic it all seemed. Michael led Carolyn to one of his favorite wooden benches. Sitting down, he shared not only why she was the perfect girl, but why she was the perfect girl for him. Michael asked Carolyn to marry him, and she happily agreed, over the moon to be marrying the man she loved so much as well. These two are tying the knot this fall, and I am already looking forward to capturing their gorgeous wedding! For now, enjoy a few of my favorites from their Brooklyn engagement session below.
Carolyn and Mike seriously might be one of the sweetest couples ever! It was such a joy to spend the afternoon with them, and by the way they interacted, it was obvious how much they care for one another.
For their Brooklyn engagement photos, Carolyn and Mike thought it would be sweet to revisit the bench where Mike proposed! There is nothing I love more than when couples use this session as an opportunity to tell the story of their relationship.
